Glass Digital’s Virginia Rizzi to guest star on top social media podcast
We’re excited to announce that our brilliant Head of Affiliate Marketing, Virginia Rizzi, will be guest-starring on the Giraffe Social Media Podcast later this week!
The weekly podcast — which is produced by the social media agency Giraffe — takes a deep dive into some of the most interesting and noteworthy topics in the world of social media marketing, including expert interviews, industry insights, and discussions about the latest tactics and tools.
The goal of the podcast is to provide social media marketers and other industry professionals with a platform where they can hear from like-minded peers, all while having some fun along the way.
Virginia heads up the Affiliate team here at Glass Digital and oversees a number of campaigns for top brands across key sectors, including fashion, travel, finance, home and garden retail, and many more.
During the podcast, she will be sharing her expert insight into all things affiliate. In particular, she’ll be explaining how affiliate marketing works, along with insights into how the sector has changed during the pandemic. She’ll also be focusing on how affiliates can produce different results to other types of social media marketing.
Virginia said: “I am really passionate about affiliate marketing and this is a great opportunity for me to share my knowledge with others in the sector.
“I’ll be sharing all the ways that affiliate marketing can be beneficial to brands and content creators, and how I think it measures up compared to influencer marketing.
“I am particularly excited to discuss how affiliate compares to influencer marketing, as there is a very fine line between both activities, and there’s often a lot of confusion about how they differ.

Virginia will be recording the podcast this Thursday, and it is expected that the finished episode will go live soon after.
