Head of Marketing to deliver SEO workshop as part of Digital Pathfinders programme

We’re delighted to be working as part of the Digital Pathfinders programme funded by the North of Tyne Combined Authority. The programme offers digital business training for companies based in Newcastle, Northumberland, and North Tyneside.

We’ve been asked to join the initiative and share our expertise with organisations in the region by delivering an SEO workshop.

Head of Marketing, Jen Macdonald, will be providing the three-hour workshop at Newcastle’s Clavering House on February 22nd at 9am. The workshop will cover ‘Developing and Implementing an SEO Strategy into Your Business’.

During the workshop, there will be opportunities to network with other attendees, as well as training and interaction. The workshop agenda incorporates:

  1. Networking
  2. Introductions
  3. Three main pillars of SEO – Tech, content, link-building
  4. Technical SEO — Website elements to implement
  5. Content — Types of content, getting the most out of your content, SEO elements
  6. Link-building — Techniques, outreach tactics, finding links
  7. Developing an SEO strategy
  8. Reporting — Using Google Analytics to track site performance
  9. Question time

The collaboration between Glass Digital and Digital Pathfinders will be a great way for North East businesses to improve their SEO skills, which can help them build their online presence in the year ahead.

The event is free to attend. Businesses simply need to register for the workshop by reserving a spot here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/developing-and-implementing-an-seo-strategy-into-your-business-tickets-482400702487

Jen has six years of marketing experience and, in October, delivered a four-hour workshop in collaboration with the charitable organisation Connected Voice, so we are looking forward to her sharing knowledge with the attending businesses. Jen commented:

“It was a pleasure to be asked to deliver a workshop with Digital Pathfinders. I have hosted a few training sessions over the past year with great feedback, so hopefully this event will be no different. During the session, I am going to provide attendees with some simple but effective tips and tricks to help them improve and maintain their website visibility.

The topics I am discussing will aim to help businesses in the region overcome a rocky road ahead in the coming year and will help boost their online presence. I strongly believe that providing companies with free expertise not only benefits their organisation but the North East as a whole, which therefore invests in our region’s economic future.”
